With winter just around the corner (it already feels like it hit New England some days), it’s time to start thinking about coats. While I do love a new one, I seem to always gravitate towards the same coats year after year. Each is a neutral shade, a style I can wear over and over while still keeping me warm and cozy. I get cold very easily so it’s important to me to find something heavy-duty but still chic. I have found most of my coats from J. Crew. Investing in a good coat is so worth it; I’ve had my coats for YEARS and they still look and act brand new. Right now through the weekend you can save 40% off your purchase with code BUNDLEUP! Now is the best time to start investing!
Meghan Markle wore this coat recently and for good reason. It’s so classic (I feel like I say that way too much but I love a good classic piece!) And the Duchess has such an amazing fashion sense, I want her entire wardrobe.
Chateau Parka in Italian Stadium- Cloth Wool
My favorite coat of all time. I’ve had this one for SIX years and they restocked again for this year because it’s just that good! 7 colors to choose from: I have the grey color and love how it goes with both casual or dressy attire. I love the fact that it has a hood – the fur detaches which is a great detail. I usually take mine off in the fall and reattach in the winter; it seems warmer and more festive. It does run large but since I am tall and like to bundle up, I kept my regular size.
Another staple. I have this in the camel color but you can choose from 8 other colors. I love the high neck to keep you toasty. I wear mine more as a layer rather than a coat even though it’s still a very functioning coat option.
Doesn’t this pullover look so cozy? I can imagine wearing it to run errands around town or sitting by a warm fire. It would also be great to travel in instead of wearing a bulky coat, just throw this on for your road trip.
If you are looking for one winter coat this year it should be this one. Sherpa lined inside for extra warmth, cute colors to choose from, and a fur lined hood. It does seem like the perfect winter parka!
