It seems like we’re still traveling quite a bunch on the weekends. It usually slows down in the winter but it’s nice to have things to look forward to during the cold winter days. This past weekend we drove up to Rockland County to visit our friends who just bought a house. We spent the day eating barbecue from the Big Green Egg and drinking red wine. The snow flurries were the icing on the cake!

On Sunday, our little family took a stroll around our neighborhood.  It was chilly but sunny. I bundled up in my red parka, cozy socks and bean boots.  I love this red color! It adds a pop of color during the dreary winter months. Sizing runs large – I went with a small tall. Even though I grew up in New England with the cold winters, I will never get used to the freezing temperatures. This jacket kept me nice and warm during our walk around town and cozy with the fleece lining inside.
