We’ve been looking forward to our first holiday season in our new home since we bought it July. The Host With The Most gift guide is the perfect complement to this guide; it includes smaller gifts you would bring to a house party during the winter. These gifts are for decorating or bigger gifts for the home.
Wine Bag -How cute is this wine bag? It’s more of a hostess gift but I would love to display on a decorated bar cart.
KitchenAid Mixer -We have so many things on our countertops but I would move it all aside for this classic mixer. It’s so beautiful and it’s on SALE! Still on the pricey side but it’s an item you will own forever.
Painting -My friend Katie is an amazing artist and paints beautiful landscape pieces. Buy one of her prints and frame for the perfect gift!
Ginger Jar -Another beautiful, classic piece, we have a collection in our home located on bay window in the living room. I love the blue and white designs.
Basket -We have a few of these baskets throughout our home. They’re perfect for keeping blankets, displaying extra pillows, a toy chest or fireplace wood.
Dinner Plates -Can you tell I’m obsessed with plaid? These would be so beautiful on a holiday tablescape with family or friends.
Doormat -This woven doormat is currently on our front stoop and we receive so many compliments on it. It’s really cute and transitions into all seasons.
Dutch Oven -We don’t own a dutch oven but my mom and her sisters do and have for years. It’s a great gift and so pretty to display on your stovetop.
Cozy Throw -Can’t have too many throws, especially during the winter. These are neutral and an easy gift everyone will love. We’ve also gifted in Yankee Swaps which are always a hit.
Plaid Pillows -More plaid. It’s a classic print for the holidays and dresses a room right up.
Crock Pot -Such a convenient gift for everyone. At the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is cook. I always look for simple dishes and this is the simplest. Throw in all the ingredients at the start of your day and by the end, your delicious meal will be ready. Add a crock pot cookbook for more!
Letterboard -Our letterboard is multi-purpose. We use for the monthly photos of Henry and adding a little extra during holidays. After Henry’s 9 month photo, I will write “Fa La La La La” on the letterboard and place in a busy spot for everyone to see.
