With the holidays quickly approaching, I knew I wanted to schedule family photos before the busi-ness that’s to come. We squeezed in a mini session in Prospect Park on a chilly fall morning before Jimmy had to rush to work a few weeks ago and I am so happy we did (red noses and all!) Now I just have to choose which picture to use for our holiday card!
I first discovered PinkBlush when I was pregnant with James last year. The bold and bright floral patterns were perfect for my spring/ summer pregnancy but there was a whole section of PinkBlush that had yet to be discovered. Think solids and stripes: basically my whole wardrobe.
I found this amazing wrap dress in the perfect fall color: burgundy! The wrap is such a flattering fit and I love that the tie makes it easy to adjust based on trimester and as my belly grows. The fabric is a heavier cotton which is super comfortable and warm. For our shoot, I wore a pair of nude flats but there are so many other ways to style this classic silhouette. For Thanksgiving, a plaid scarf would be a great accessory. For Christmas, a festive pair of heels, tassel earrings, and a wrap coat would dress the look right up! I opted for a size medium but could definitely size down and wear a small.
