J.Crew Skirt, Old Navy Top, H&M Flats (old, similar here and here)

We spent Easter a few weekends ago with Jimmy’s family in Connecticut.  We started our day with a delicious brunch filled with overnight french toast, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, fruit, and crispy bacon.  It was a beautiful day and a peaceful scene with the ocean waves glistening in the background so we decided to take a family stroll to the neighborhood beach.  If you look closely, you can see Easter eggs hidden throughout the yard for the children to find! James had a blast during his first Easter with his bunny basket.

With warmer temperatures heading our way, I knew I had to invest in a few new pieces for spring. J.Crew recently came out with a new ready-to-party collection featuring beautiful skirts, tops, and dresses I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. This blue eyelet skirt was the first thing I added to my shopping cart. Unfortunately, as expected, most sizes sold out quickly so I ended up purchasing a size 2 Tall. Since I am tall (5’8″) it ended up working out and the length is perfect. I can’t wait to wear it all season long!

I wore the eyelet skirt on Easter Sunday paired with this ruffle top from Old Navy and H&M Scalloped flats. I love the blue and white combination but there is also a matching eyelet top for the full look. I am also loving this off the shoulder dress, this floral dress, this gingham skirt and this jumpsuit from the collection.
