For New York Fashion Week, Ralph Lauren’s flagship store on Madison Avenue was transformed into a gardener’s dream. Over 100,00 fresh white orchids were displayed on ivy and moss covered walls throughout the store with mechanical butterflies I felt like I was in outside in nature with the floor-to-ceiling garden, the fragrance of the blooms, and the sounds of birds playing in the background. I’ve never seen anything like it! It reminded me of a museum – I can’t wait to see what Ralph Lauren has in store for his next show!
Men in white suits served champagne and cucumber water to the ogling viewers. I felt like a celebrity as I walked around the store with my champagne in hand fantasizing over the beautiful new collection. The white couches used in the runway show were still set up along the perimeter of the floors and made a comfortable seat to take in the scenery. Even though the last day to view the installation was on Monday, the store itself is worth making a trip for. I don’t think the photos do the store justice! It was so beautiful.
I wore this blush pink sweater and it’s been on repeat for the past few weeks. It is so soft and cozy and is the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. I can picture pairing it with black culottes or white jeans. I know I will have these lace-up flats on repeat all spring long, too. They are super comfortable and go with just about everything – pants or dresses alike!
