We recently traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to celebrate our first anniversary and baby moon.  It was my first time visiting this adorable city and I already can’t wait to plan our next vacation there!

As a big proponent of trying new coffee shops, I had to try Vintage Coffee in Mount Pleasant.  It was the perfect place to grab a delicious quick bite! We sat out back where there was a playground setup made up of recycled materials.

We chose to stay on Sullivan’s Island in a beach house we rented from Air BNB.  It was so hot in Charleston, it was nice to venture to the beach during the day and soak in the sun. At night, when the air would cool, we would head into the city to explore and eat dinner.

I wore this Hatch maternity dress (similar here) during the day. It’s a great staple when pregnant throughout the summer; it is so light and flowy. I’ve definitely gotten good use out of it this summer!

Later in the day, we made our way over to Poe’s Tavern on the main street in Sullivan’s Island for some fish tacos. Not only were they delicious, Edgar Allan Poe himself made an appearance!
