After 8+ hours of driving, we arrived at the June Motel in Prince Edward County, Ontario. If you are looking for the cutest, Instagram worthy spot, this is it. From the check-in counter to the pillows on the bed, every detail is so thoughtful and perfect for a weekend getaway.

When we pulled up to The June, I was SO excited to see pink doors. I mean, how cute?! And then you enter the door and every corner gets cuter and cuter. I loved the palm wallpaper and according to the website, each room has it’s own adorable theme. The Studio is calling my name with that wicker headboard and leaf wallpaper! The best part about our room? We had a balcony that overlooked Lake Ontario! It made for beautiful views and fresh, country air.

Need anything? Text reception and your needs are met ASAP! We received texts regarding happy hour on the patio, when cleaning services were available, and our requests for room service. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was the perfect appetizer!

Downtown Picton is a quick 5 minute drive from the motel or you can borrow one of the complimentary first come – first serve bicycles on the premises. Main Street has cute shoppes, like Gilbert and Lighthall Marketplace for housewares and Books & Company, coffee shops (I went to The Bean Counter and got an iced coffee and a delicious blueberry scone!), and restaurants. A must on my list was Tim Horton’s, the Canadian staple, which we stopped at on our way out for an Iced Capp and donuts. SO good!
