Pink Blush Dress, Lauren Conrad Flats, J Crew Jean Jacket
The transition from winter to spring weather is always challenging for me. I never know what to wear, I get excited for the glimpse into warmer temperatures and then brought right back to reality with a wintry mix or an abundance of rain. I’m hoping for those May flowers to come sooner than later!
That glimpse into spring happened for us in New York City last weekend when we had 80 degree days. We enjoyed a nice stroll to Brooklyn Bridge Park, ran around the grass with James and had a picnic lunch with our friends visiting from New Jersey. They also have a baby boy the same age as James so it was fun to watch them play and interact together!
Not only is it difficult to dress for the weather, the phase between pregnancy and regular clothes is tough. I wore this blue sleeveless gingham dress from Pink Blush and since it is a maternity dress, it fit a little large, perfect to pair with a baby bump. I brought along my jean jacket to keep warm along the shaded walk but also to create a slimmer fit. The cutout and ruffle detailing in the front could easily be transformed into a night look with wedges and tassel earrings.
Thank you so much to Pink Blush and Shopstyle for sponsoring this post.
