Zara Dress, Franco Sarto Mules

Spring is finally in the air with an abundance of April showers, and even a little bit of snow, and the air starting to warm up every now and then. On Sunday, I had two baby showers to attend in Massachusetts, one for my best friend and the other for my cousin.  I took out this floral dress which I wore when I was pregnant with Henry to my baby shower that my mom hosted a few months ago and realized I never posted about it! The sprinkle, which is a shower for a second baby, took place at the Plaza Hotel for high tea and tea sandwiches with my mom, mother-in-law, and two sister-in-laws. It was the perfect afternoon to celebrate our soon-to-be new arrival!

The floral dress I wore blended right in with the decor. With the elastic waistband, it fit perfectly over the bump. I upped one size to a medium and the fit was flowy and comfortable. I love the ease of wearing dresses and the midi style dresses are my new favorite silhouette.

The Plaza is so beautiful and a classic staple to the city.  Although the weather outside was rainy and gloomy, the decor brightened up the day with bright yellows, greenery, and pinks and gorgeous chandeliers. My favorite part about lunch at the Plaza is trying all the different sandwiches and desserts stacked on the tiered stands. There is a deliciousness to every bite! And of course, the variety of tea is a tea lover’s dream!
