Must-Have Pregnancy Products

When it comes to pregnancy, there is an abundance of products on the market. From oils to lotions to vitamins, I’ve tried a bunch and stuck with a select few.

While I pregnant with James, I wore Mama Mio Oil and Tummy Rub Butter Lotion religiously.  After every shower, I would lather on the oil from neck to toe and then apply the lotion on top.  I refused to get stretch marks.  The same still holds true; I do not want stretch marks but I have updated my routine a bit. I started  with Mama Mio Oil but it only lasted about half of the full pregnancy.  Once I ran out I tried a few other oils. I used Clarins Oil and while it did the trick, I liked Mama Mio more.  The scent of Clarins was a little too strong for my pregnant senses and Mama Mio has a pump to remove the oil rather than pouring out a given amount. I’ve also used Coconut Oil.  You can find this at your local supermarket for a fraction of the cost and it works like a charm. The scent is mild but it is coconuty. I find my clothes to hold the smell more.

As far as prenatal vitamins, my stomach was very sensitive first trimester, as are many other pregnant women.  I would take these gummy vitamins at night and the ease of the gummy as well as going to bed after helped with the nausea. Once I hit second trimester, I started taking these prenatals. It’s important to add Iron to your vitamins as they help the baby with development throughout the pregnancy and the gummy vitamins tend not to include it.

I had to add this Primally Pure deodorant to the mix a few weeks ago.  I am so happy I discovered it but wish I did sooner! I’ve tried many a deodorant this pregnancy and none seemed to work except this lavender magic. Not only is it soft and nourishing, it smells so good and keeps me smelling fresh all day long! A must-have!

What products do you use for your everyday pregnant self? I would love to know in the comments below!
