Ever since having a baby, my coffee intake has dramatically increased. Cappuccino. Iced Lattes. Americano. You name it. I’ve had it. Now don’t get me wrong. I love the amount of coffee shops I have found and tried during the past four months but the stains have significantly taken a toll on my pearly whites. The thought of going to the dentist to get a whitening treatment was always something I wanted to try but not so convenient now with the baby in tow. Over the past few weeks, I was able to start my first teeth whitening experience with Smile Brilliant for a fraction of the price of a dentist AND in the comfort of my own home!
After placing your order, you will receive a kit filled with ready to use materials including Base and Catalyst Paste, detailed instructions with pictures to create your impressions, teeth whitening gels and desensitizing gels. First, you will need to create your own impression by mixing the Base and Paste together and then pressing the mixture into the plastic trays. Once the paste is in it’s place, you will pop the tray in your mouth, bite down, and hold for a few minutes until the mold is firm. The trickiest part of the whole process for me was creating my own impressions but there was an extra Base/ Paste mix in my kit just in case I made an error. Once the impressions are complete, place them in the pre-paid envelope and send them on their way! Within 1-2 weeks, you will receive your custom-fitted trays in the mail!
The custom trays fit perfectly to my teeth, are light weight, and flexible, making them comfortable to wear for an extended amount of time. Sometimes I forget I am even wearing the trays until my timer goes off! And how cute is the little box to keep your trays in?!
Now for the part we’ve all been waiting for – the whitening! Simply squeeze a small amount of the whitening gel into your tray then place the tray on your teeth for 15 minutes or up to 3 hours! Since my time is always unpredictable I only do 15 minutes a day and I have still seen a difference. I was always hesitant to try teeth whitening because I was nervous about my teeth sensitivity. However, Smile Brilliant eased my mind right away. As stated above, there is desensitizing gel included in your kit which is done after the whitening to help re-hydrate and reduce sensitivity of your teeth.

I didn’t realize how yellow my teeth were until my before and after pictures. I sat in the same spot, same outfit, same red lipstick, same wild hairdo for a clearer comparison. I can’t recommend Smile Brilliant enough for such amazing results. You can schedule your whitening on YOUR time and allow the gels to work their magic without breaking the bank.
