Red, White, and Stripes

We spent our Fourth of July traveling up the East Coast visiting family and friends. We started our journey from New York City to Clinton, Connecticut where Jimmy’s family lives. Here’s a round up of some pictures during our stay in CT.

The area where Jimmy’s parents live is very unique. Located on the corner of the street, their home is situated between the marsh and ocean. At low tide, the water leaves behind an island with some of the softest sand I’ve ever felt on my feet. During this time, we usually bring our dog Nema out to run around on the sand and through the low water level.

One night, we explored Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, CT.  There are three public beaches, conveniently setup with snack bars and restrooms. We arrived at sunset so we did not partake in the beach experience but it’s definitely something we would like to check out in the future. We stumbled upon Meigs Point, where we could look back onto Clinton’s beaches.

I’ve only bought a handful of maternity clothes to wear throughout my pregnancy. I’ve realized I’ve gravitated towards fitted dresses as it shows off the bump. The items I attached below are all regular clothing except the bellyband.  I’ve loved the bellyband because I can wear my own clothing and just wear it on top of my pants to hold everything in place!

Outfit 1: Zara Dress (Sold Out, I like this style, this, and this), Tuckernuck Hat

Outfit 2: H&M White Jeans, Loft Top (similar here), J.Crew Scarf (similar here and here), BellyBand

Outfit 3: Old Navy Dress (similar here and here), J.Crew Gingham Shirt, Talbots Sandals (similar here, love these)
